This 7x12” custom handcrafted snare drum is built from 6 plies of 100% Hard Maple. Like all of our UltraThin Reso Series snare drums, this one is built with a raw Nordic shell for a thin and resonant wood vibe and is custom finished by us here at Seven Six Drums.
As for the finish, I applied gold dye and topped is off with 8 coats of high gloss, super durable polyester clear coat. This drum has:
offset 45 degree bearing edges.
chrome die cast lugs
chrome triple flanged hoops and tension rods
20 strand snare wires
Ludwig Atlas throw off and butt plate
Matching air vent grommet
Remo heads.
