This 5.5x14” custom handcrafted snare drum is built from 100% Walnut and Ambrosia Maple wood staves. These two woods combine to create a balanced drum and the wood has some gorgeous featuring. As for the finish, I topped it off with 10 coats of high gloss, super durable 2K polyester clear coat.
This drum has:
offset 45 degree bearing edges.
a 0.66” thick stave shell
single point black nickel lugs and tension rods
black nickel triple flanged hoops
25 strand snare wires with brass ends
Black nickel throw off and butt plate
Matching air vent grommet
Remo CS Reverse White Dot and Ambassador heads.
