This 5x14” custom handcrafted snare drum is built from 0.5 inch thick Curly Birdseye Maple and Bolivian Rosewood. This custom snare drum was designed in collaboration with well-known New Orleans drummer Alfred Jordan Jr. It has a top and bottom 2 inch layer of Curly Birdseye Maple and a middle 1 inch section of the Rosewood. I topped it off with an aqua/blue dye on the maple, and 8 coats of durable 2K high gloss polyester. This custom snare drum has a huge tuning range and is a beautiful example of figured exotic and domestic woods.
