This 7x14 Ultra Rare Wood Series: Black and White Ebony stave snare’s shell is about 1/2" thick. I topped it off with a crystal clear, glossy, glassy, pricey, pretty, durable polyester clear coat. This custom snare drum has black nickel die-cast hoops and tension rods, black powdercoated low mass lugs from Champagne Drums, Puresound 20 strand snare wires, a DW black nickel throw off and butt plate, and Evans heads. This custom snare drum has a huge tuning range and, as far as I can tell, is the only fully black and white ebony wood stave snare drum available on the market. This one is sold but if there is more of this wood available at the time you request it, I can build one just like it or customize it to your liking.
