This drum is sold, but I can create another just like it or customize it to your liking.

Morado, aka Bolivian Rosewood, is a super hard wood. On the Janka Wood Hardness Scale that goes from 420 to 3600, Morado comes in at 1780. When it’s cut, the end grain looks like chocolate fudge…this wood is very dense and heavy. Thick, hard wood (no, I’m not reading a review of a porn movie) results in a higher pitched shell that really projects.

This mamacita comes with with a 3/5” thick shell with offset 45 degree bearing edges, modern brass lugs, Ludwig diecast brass hoops, brass tension rods, a DW brass throw off with 3-position brass butt plate, Puresound Custom Pro 24 strand brass snare wires, and a Remo/Evans head combo. It has a Tung Oil interior and exterior finish with an oil-based polyester satin clear coat on the exterior. Seven Six Drum Company’s serial #003.
