The Bubinga and Jatoba Art Custom Snare Drum

$925.00

This 6x14” custom handcrafted snare drum is built from 0.6 inch thick African Bubinga wood, with 4 staves of Brazilian Cherry, or “Jatoba” added to it to give ti a slightly different tonality than an all-Bubinga shell, as Jatoba is harder than Bubinga. Also, as I try not to duplicate drums I’ve built in the past, adding the Jatoba staves differentiates it from the Bubing Art Custom Snare Drum. I topped it off with a crystal clear, glossy, glassy, pricey, pretty, durable polyester clear coat. This custom snare drum has a huge tuning range and is a beautiful example of figured exotic wood.

  • Diecaast brass hoops

  • 100% brass handmade lugs custom built for Seven Six Drums by Champagne Drums in Canada

  • brass tension rods

  • brass Pearl 20 strand snare wires

  • a brass INde throw off and butt plate

  • Remo heads

  • *****THIS drum is sold, but I can build another just like it or customize it to your specs. Turnaround is just 4-6 weeks
