This 6.75x14” custom handcrafted snare drum is built from 20 0.80” inch thick solid Canarywood staves. Noted drum collector Larry Moore and I had been chatting on and off for a while and he commissioned me to build him a special snare. I found some gorgeous Canarywood and he dictated the rest of the specs to me. Always great building for folks who truly love the instrument. I topped it off with a crystal clear, glossy, glassy, pricey, pretty, durable polyester clear coat. This custom snare drum has a huge tuning range and is a beautiful example of figured exotic wood.

Brass single point lugs, custom handbuilt for Seven Six Drum Co in Canada
German style 25 strand snare wires
a 24 kt Gold Plated Trick throw off and butt plate
Remo heads
