This 6.75x14 100% Louisiana Cypress shell is about 3/5” thick. I topped it off with a weathered black analine dye finish, 4 gold leaf fleur de lis, crystal clear, glossy, glassy, pricey, pretty, durable polyester clear coat. This custom snare drum has brass diecast hoops, brass tension rods, brass custom made low mass single contact point lugs from Champagne Drum in Canada, Puresound Custom Pro snare wires, a DW throw off and butt plate in brass, and Remo heads. As usual with a stave drum this size, it has a fantastic crack and looks sexy, too. ****this one is sold, but I can make a similar drum if you’re into it.
