This is a 5.25×14” solid stave custom snare drum made from 2/3” thick 100% Olivewood solid staves with a 1” center section of Cedar staves.
Olivewood is an exotic hardwood that is very dense and makes gorgeous instruments.
This drum has:
roundover to 45 degree bearing edges
extra wide snare beds
black nickel dual offset lugs and tension rods
black nickel diecast hoops
Trick Drums black throw off and butt plate
Remo heads and German style 25 strand snare wires.
*****this particular drum was built for a client, but I can build you something very similar. You’d have full control over the design of the shell and lugs, or let me design it all.
