The Purple and White Custom Snare Drum
This 5x14” custom handcrafted snare drum is built from 2/3rds inch thick Purpleheart, a very hard South American exotic wood. The purple color you see is not a dye, it’s the wood natural color. I thought it would be cool to compliment the purple with a nice contrasting set of white powdercoated lugs and hoops. I topped the shell off with 9 coats of durable and beautiful high gloss 2K polyester clear coat. This custom snare drum has a huge tuning range and is just cool looking.
