The PSP - Purple Super Piccolo Louisiana Cypress Custom Stave Snare Drum
$795.00
This 4.75x14” custom handcrafted snare drum is built from 0.50” inch thick 100% Louisiana Sinker Cypress staves. Cypress is a soft wood, and this Sinker Cypress came from the bayous not far from Seven Six Drum Co’s headquarters. I’m calling it a “Super Piccolo” because it is deeper than most piccolos, but shallower than most non-piccolo snares. After staining it purple, I topped it off with a crystal clear, glossy, glassy, pricey, pretty, durable polyester clear coat. This custom snare drum has a huge tuning range and is a beautiful example of Sinker Cypress.
This handcrafted custom snare drum has
Brass triple flanged hoops
Brass dual point tuxedo lugs and tension rods
German style 25 strand snare wires
A brass throw off and butt plate
Remo heads.
*** This drum is sold, but I can build one for you just like it or adjust the specs to your liking. Current turnaround time is about 5-7 weeks.
