Weighing just 5.87 lbs, this 4x14” custom handcrafted snare drum is built from 1.25mm thick aircraft aluminum. It has a Tactile Carbon finish. This custom snare drum has triple-flanged black nickel hoops and aluminum handmade lugs and throwoff/butt plate custom built by Champagne Drums in Canada. This custom snare drum has black nickel rods, DFD 20 strand snare wires, and DFD heads. In order to minimize weight and cost, this drum does not carry the Seven Six Drum Company badge. Also, to maximize sensitivity and minimize weight/cost, this drum has no air vent or air vent grommet. This custom snare drum has a great dry crack when tuned up tight and is incredibly sensitive. Great for everything from funk to rock to orchestral music.
