PureSolid True Solid Custom Snare Drums

A PureSolid shell is not steam bent, not built from thin plies and not glued up from staves. Each one starts as a single solid log that is mounted on a massive lathe and slowly carved into a cylinder, so the drum is one continuous piece of wood that once stood as a tree. Only a handful of builders in the world make true solid shells.

These shells are a collaboration with Y&T Drums in Indonesia. Seven Six Drum Company then cuts the bearing edges, applies the finish and assembles every drum by hand in New Orleans, giving each one a huge tuning range and the dramatic figure only a solid log can show.
